Terry Bingham

Tara, Dermy and Terry have played traditional music since the 1970s.  Tara and Terry learned their early music from their father, Leslie Bingham and later played with Dermy in sessions around Belfast.  Terry moved to Doolin in the 1980s and now lives in Kinvara.  He plays locally in south Galway and North Clare and has played and taught classes at festivals and workshops across Ireland and abroad.  Dermy and Tara moved to Dublin in the 1980s and now live in Carrick, Co. Donegal where they play regularly at local events and sessions.  Tara has taught classes and conducted workshops at many festivals and Schools in Ireland and abroad, including the Frankie Kennedy Winter School and the Willie Clancy Summer School and will be teaching at ‘Belfast TradFest’ in July.
