Peter Crann

Peter Crann is the founder and chief facilitator for WeDrum Ireland. He has been facilitating interactive drumming workshops nationwide for over 15 years. He has studied samba, african and cuban rhythms over the last 20 years. He is also a proficient bodhrán player.

Although he loved music all his life, he only discovered the joy of playing percussion in his 20’s. Peter puts his skill as a teacher down to the belief that literally anyone can positively participate in the music-making process. 

Continually studying as an adult, Peter has experimented with many techniques of learning music. As a result he is comfortable using many different methods simultaneously, This helps him connect with participants and adapt the workshop effortlessly to the level, needs and abilities of every individual and group.

A quick humour and lively communication skills have earnt him the reputation as one of Irelands top music workshop facilitators.
